Postrank and the Steve Newcomb worst case scenario | marginal focus

Google's acquisition of Postrank looks like another great example of the Steve Newcomb worst case scenario.

If we guess at a price of about $50mm this would be a great acquisition for google if it helps them build social signals into search.

This also looks like a great startup opportunity knowing how google is likely to (not) support the API.
