Cell phone etiquette pet peeves
When I call your cell phone and do not leave a message, there is no need to call me back to say, "who 'dis?". If I wanted you to I would have left a message in the first place.

Well don't speak for the rest of us. That is just quirky you talking. I sometimes know if I call a cell phone number that my number will show up and so I don't have to bother with a longwinded message. (this better not apply to me)

Okay, I agree that there are exceptions. I think it depends on how well the callee knows the caller. If the callee doesn't have the caller's cell phone #, forget it, no callback required. Otherwise no problem.

I'm gonna have to disagree with Breean on this one. Sometimes, when I am scrolling through my address book, I accidentally hit TALK when I am on the wrong person. Then, I hang up, but their phone will still say they missed my call. If they call me back, I have to tell them, "Oh, I didn't really want to talk to YOU, I was trying to call someone else and accidentally hit talk too soon!" or something like that. That's embarrassing!
Then again, from the other side of the coin, I usually do call someone I know back if I see I missed their call, even if I don't have a voicemail from them. I've never been told it was an accident, but maybe they're just trying to cover up to be nice!
