interesting. It reflects a lot in the book I am reading, “What’s wrong with Kansas”. I have mixed feelings about the idea…there are some values, er…principles in there that I don’t really want to lose (like universal health care) but I certainly wouldn’t mind placing more emphasis on environmentalism. I am really ambivalent about the idea of turning a blind idea to the social issues…but if, as my book suggests, those things wouldn’t get implemented by Republicans anyway, then maybe it’s not a danger to allow some pro-life leadership even in the nation’s more liberal party. So long as they really don’t get that wrapped up in their politics and their agendas.
as it turns out that voting republican is a genetic disorder! maybe we’ll have a cure soon.
