		<description>interesting.  It reflects a lot in the book I am reading, "What's wrong with Kansas".  I have mixed feelings about the idea...there are some values, er...principles in there that I don't really want to lose (like universal health care) but I certainly wouldn't mind placing more emphasis on environmentalism.  I am really ambivalent about the idea of turning a blind idea to the social issues...but if, as my book suggests, those things wouldn't get implemented by Republicans anyway, then maybe it's not a danger to allow some pro-life leadership even in the nation's more liberal party.  So long as they really don't get that wrapped up in their politics and their agendas.</description>
