Suze Orman is totally my hero. Most of the “financial advisers” that you see on tv are complete frauds and provide absolutely useless advice. Suze (pronounced Susie, not Soooze, as B recently taught me) though, is honest and actually gives good advice. And she likes Seattle real estate right now.

Suze Orman is my hero
Friday, November 23rd, 2007Rescue Dawn and Werner Herzog
Friday, November 23rd, 2007We just Netflixed Rescue Dawn, a Werner Herzog movie about a Vietnam-era navy pilot who escapes from a Laotian prison.
Werner Herzog movies are growing on me. He’s sort of obsessed with obsession… Rescue Dawn is about a man obsessed with survival; the last Herzog movies we saw were Grizzly Man (man obsessed with… grizzlies) and The White Diamond (man obsessed with building a quiet, small blimp for observing the rainforest canopy). All recommended.
Flight of the Conchords
Wednesday, November 7th, 2007We just got Flight of the Conchords Season 1 on netflix, and it is the funniest show I’ve ever seen. It’s about two musicians from New Zealand trying to get by in New York. They have these great musical fantasy sequences where they sing about a girl being the “most beautiful girl in the room, and if she was on the street possibly in the top three on the street, depending on the street.”
Spider-Man 3 sucks
Thursday, November 1st, 2007Watched Spider-Man 3 from netflix this week. Waste. Of. Time. Worst Kirsten Dunst movie ever.
