Why does the LAX terminal 3 food suck so much

When you fly out of terminal 3 at LAX (Alaska and a couple other small airlines) the food choices consist of Starbucks, Burger King, a CPK “Express” (how can a place that calls itself CPK not have pizza?) and some crappy sports bar. This is 2007 people! Airports like Seattle, Denver and SF all have kick ass food… why in the world does LAX suck so much? You can’t eat muffins for dinner and I’m never, ever going back to BK. Only choice is some crappy hot dogs or (my choice tonight) a chicken quesadilla.
